Hotel Castle Garden - Budapest

The Riso restaurant's amazing food and the staff's attentiveness made our evenings nice, while the convenient bus stop nearby greatly simplified exploring Budapest.

The restaurant was astonishing with excellent food and a great breakfast buffet, I tried excellent dishes. I think the hotel was lovely modern and intimate, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Stylish hotel in an excellent location right on the edge of the castle district. Would definitely stay again.

Sunday is probably the breakfast chef's day off.

I drive through Budapest and stay overnight once or twice a year. Previously, it's always been either one of the Hiltons (I trust the brand) and I was happy enough with both. However, I wanted to try something new and, having read excellent reviews of Hotel Castle Garden, decided to give it a try. Well, not just I was not disappointed, but indeed the hotel exceeded my expectations. I found it to be even better than Hiltons, while it cost me less. I paid for a standard room, but was put in a room with a huge deck , which was a free bonus. Overall, it was exceptional value. My wife also beleives the hotel is very elegant. It's a pity we did not get a chance to try their restaurant for dinner, but breakfast there was very good.

The only - minor! - inconvenience that comes to mind is how lighting is set up in the bathroom, which made a little difficult for me to shave. Not that there was not enough light by the mirror, just the light coming from behind my back was even stronger, thus creating shadows.

Very helpful staff and good to have a restaurant option for the first night.

Chur, bro! The location is sweet as, heaps close to Buda Castle, but the shower could do with more privacy. The super nice team, though!

Being in an historic city, in a quiet hotel with good food and a garden.

The Superior Double Room with Terrace scores high on cleanliness and comfort, boasting a nice bathroom setup perfect for unwinding after a day out. Its proximity to Buda Castle is unbeatable.

Parking options in the area can be a hassle. Getting to the hotel involved navigating up a hill, which could take a toll on those with mobility issues. The pillows fell short on comfort, which dampens the usual hotel experience a bit, and the default TV channels lean heavily on news, leaving little choice for entertainment.

The hotel was very clean. Location was within 5 minutes walk of the castle and the metro line 2. I was able to use the secure hotel garage to park my car after checking out.
